About The Position

The Production Lead is a working lead with the ability to perform complex setups and skillfully operate CNC and manual mills and lathes-while maintaining quality and safety standards; keeping records; and maintaining equipment and supplies. Must possess technical knowledge such as drawing and spec interpretation. Responsible for placing requisitions for material and tools and planning/coordinating all tooling activities and priorities.

Requirements

• At least 3-years experience working at journey level.
• Bridgeport and manual lathe machining experience required.
• Expertise in CNC or Profile.
• Working familiarity with shop planning/tooling.
• Experience/knowledge applicable to fixturing/tooling applications.
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Minimum 3 years of progressive milling experience as journey level.
• Possess basic math and geometry knowledge.
• Ability to read blueprints, follow work order and verbal instructions.
• Knowledgeable of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).

Nice To Haves

• Certification from an accredited technical college a plus.
• Aerospace industry experience is preferred.
• Elementary knowledge of engineering principals helpful.
