About The Position

The Kraft Heinz Company in Mason, OH is seeking a Production Lead for their Processing Department. This role is for individuals who are safety and quality-oriented, adaptable, and willing to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment. The position operates on a 3rd shift schedule, typically from 10 PM to 6 AM, Sunday night to Thursday, with potential for overtime before or after the regular shift. The Processing Lead is responsible for the effective operation of food processing equipment and managing the Processing department to meet or exceed quality, safety, productivity, and cost standards.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent is required.
History of safe work practices.
Prior experience in a production food manufacturing environment is required.
Ability to safely lift and carry 50 lbs on a consistent basis.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to call out defects and implement to Quality standards.
Achieve qualified score on job skills assessment- to be coordinated after receiving a passing interview score.

Responsibilities

Follows all food safety requirements in collaboration with Quality Assurance, Sanitation, and other plant resources.
Leads and/or assists others in conducting investigations to determine the cause of defects.
Monitors and is responsible for quality output and takes appropriate actions to ensure production is right the first time.
Validates and ensures formulations are accurate and in conformance with process flow.
Other duties as assigned.
Understand and Administer Company Policy and Procedures fairly and consistently.
