The Production Lead is responsible for overseeing the execution of facility production plans across assembly team. This role focuses on ensuring efficient workflow, operational excellence, and adherence to production standards.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of production experience in the food manufacturing industry
  • English and Spanish proficiency in both oral and written
  • Microsoft Office proficiency
  • Actively listens and communicates clearly and effectively in both verbal and written forms, adapting to the audience as needed
  • Excellent at relationship building and interpersonal effectiveness
  • Ability to lead team and motivate employees
  • Demonstrates reliability, organization, and attention to quality and standards
  • Time management and task prioritization skills
  • Experience working with USDA and FDA regulatory requirements and compliance processes
  • Knowledge and experience of HACCP and GMP
  • Ability to work onsite (remote work is not an option)
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis at the time the employment begins and must not require sponsorship for employment visa status. This position is not eligible for employer-sponsored work authorization.

Responsibilities

  • Execute daily production plans and meet operational goals
  • Supervise line setup and ensure smooth production flow
  • Monitor productivity, quality, safety, and GMP/SOP compliance
  • Ensure orders are completed accurately and on time, with yield loss tracked
  • Coordinate plan changes with supervisors and other departments
  • Address shortages, damages, and production issues
  • Support training, cross-training, and team development
  • Collect and review production data and reports
  • Make real-time adjustments to staffing, schedules, and equipment as needed
  • Review production, quality, and productivity reports
  • Track staffing and update production boards/systems
  • Monitor all department operations (Assembly, Kitchen, Prep, Pizza, Picking, Housekeeping)
  • Conduct product and operations review meetings
  • Assign and support employee training
  • Create and manage schedules for lines, departments, and employees
  • Review performance and production data reports
  • Participate in internal operations meetings
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
