About The Position
Under the direction of the Production Shift Supervisor, the Production Lead assists in the coordination of activities engaged in the manufacturing process, utilizing knowledge of equipment, procedures, and specifications. This role is crucial for ensuring smooth production operations and adherence to quality and safety standards.
Requirements
- Ability to lift 60 pounds
- Prolonged standing
- May require bending
Responsibilities
- Assign workers to production lines to meet production requirements.
- Assist with the operation of equipment.
- Research production delays or inefficiencies.
- Participate in training of employees working in the various areas of the production department.
- Communicate any operational issues to the Production Supervisor and/or Production Director.
- Assist with maintaining accurate records of downtime.
- Assist with Production Daily/Weekly Meetings.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.
- Act as the primary point of contact in the absence of the Production Shift Supervisor.
- Other responsibilities may be assigned.
