About The Position

The Production Lead assists with the day-to-day store operation and production performance to meet or exceed budget while in compliance with company standards, policies and procedures. This role performs the duties of a supervisor when assigned by the Store Manager or Production Manager and may act in a supervisory capacity during scheduled work hours. The Production Lead is responsible for ensuring proper production of donations are processed and ready for the store floor, acting as a positive role model, producing donated goods adequately in the backroom, and maintaining a clean and safe store environment. They must also observe and ensure compliance with personnel and safety policies and procedures, be able to perform the job duties of Production Associates, and attend all regularly scheduled shifts.

Requirements

High School diploma or GED and 6 months supervisory experience or a minimum of 90 days in the service industry.
Must be able to read, write and communicate clearly in English.
Must successfully complete Retail training.

Nice To Haves

Prior work experience in the service industry preferred.

Responsibilities

Reach production goal guidelines (minimum of 110 garments per hour with a minimum quality standard of 90%).
Ensure proper production of donations get processed and ready to put on the store floor.
Act as a positive role model for employees and trainees in all aspects of professional performance.
Produce donated goods in the backroom adequately.
Create a positive public image of Goodwill through a clean store environment, attractive displays and presentable, personable personnel.
Maintain safe and appropriate conditions in the back-room area.
Keep the store clean and hazard free by vacuuming, mopping and dusting, (including cleaning the bathrooms.)
Observe personnel and safety policies and procedures. To ensure compliance by Production Associates.
Be able to perform the job duties of the Production Associates.
Attend work on the regularly scheduled shifts as assigned by the manager for the week.
