About The Position

This role guides and trains production employees and coordinates quality checks on an assigned production line. The Production Lead I is responsible for training and directing 12-40 employees, assigning plant operations during their shift, and ensuring production schedules are met while maintaining employee and product safety. The position requires a conscientious approach to production and quality, and monitoring of usages and paperwork.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 2 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment
• Fundamental understanding of Lean Manufacturing
• Ability to follow-up
• Ability to be punctual and outgoing
• Ability to communicate and work well with others in a plant environment
• Ability to successfully multi-task
• Ability to ensure collaborative relationships with industry, trade, other associations, regulatory agencies and company staff
• Ability to trouble shoot
