About The Position
Triple Cities Metal Finishing is seeking a skilled and dependable Production Laborer to support production operations. The company provides a wide variety of surface finishing options to industries including aerospace, agricultural, automotive, computer, electronics, household, industrial, medical, military, construction, and office parts. They are ISO 9001:2015, AS9100D & NADCAP Certified. Since 1945, TCMF has adapted to business changes and can handle small pieces to large parts over 30 feet long. Their facility is 125,000 square feet and serves the Northeastern United States with services like electroplating, electroless plating, wet paint, and powder coat.
Requirements
- This is an entry-level position; no previous experience is required.
- Must be skilled and dependable.
Nice To Haves
- Some manufacturing or related experience is a plus but not required.
Responsibilities
- Assist with setting up, operating, and monitoring machinery and chemical tanks.
- Prepare and transport materials to and from the production line, ensuring that the Line Operator has everything needed for continuous operation.
- Inspect products during and after the finishing process to ensure they meet quality standards and reporting any defects or issues.
- Prepare parts for various processes by following customer specifications to clean, rack, and/or sand.
- Unrack and inspect parts for defects and remove masking materials if needed after processing.
- Package parts after processing for shipment to customers.
- Utilize computer system to track job progress and scan in and out of jobs.
- Verify the accurate process is performed per the customers specifications.
- Complete work orders and requests in a timely fashion.
- Operate, maintain and clean manufacturing equipment and work area.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
