People • Customers • Trust The Production Laborer position is a full-time position that will work 12-hour shifts (a rotating day and night shift). There is a possibility of working an 8-hour swing. The Tomahawk Mill is a 24-hour operation; candidates must be able to work any assigned rotating shifts and be available on short notice of overtime.

Requirements

  • Minimum age 18
  • High School Diploma or G.E.D
  • Ability to read, write and speak in English
  • Must possess a valid driver's license
  • Satisfactory completion of background check and drug screen
  • At least two years of full or part-time work in the last four years

Nice To Haves

  • Pulp & Paper industry experience preferred.
  • At least 2-5 years of experience in manufacturing, warehouse, equipment or process operations and equivalent skills in an industrial manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Work any assigned rotating shifts including weekends, holidays and overtime
  • Be available on short notice of overtime
  • Work well under pressure and within time constraints

  • Build sound relationships with both internal and external customers
  • Exhibit excellent communication, analytical, organizational and computer skills
  • Independently make sound decisions through creative problem-solving, ambiguity and change
  • Work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple requests simultaneously
  • Read and understand technical correspondence, memos, instructions, and reports
