About The Position

Boeing Global Services (BGS) is looking for a Production Inventory Control Coordinator to join our MMO (Material Maintenance Operations) team in San Antonio, TX. This position involves managing inventory, preparing materials for shipment, and ensuring the availability of necessary parts and hardware to meet production schedules. The role requires analysis of production scheduling, identification and resolution of material-related problems, and occasional in-depth analysis of complex issues concerning material requirements, inventories, schedules, and configuration control.

Requirements

  • Experience with warehouse inventory including parts accuracy and accountability
  • Experience working in a computer-based inventory management system or warehouse management system
  • Experience using a computer to complete work-related activities
  • Ability to obtain and/or already possess a forklift operator certification
  • Ability to work variable shifts (i.e. scheduled and unscheduled overtime; weekends and holidays) to support mission requirements and workload
  • Must satisfy the Company's Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process
  • Must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
  • Requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct inventory of stored materials and reports deterioration/ damage
  • Remove and issue material from storage and prepare for shipment
  • Perform assigned duties while wearing required safety equipment
  • Perform assigned duties on all shifts without encumbrance due to weather or physical location and conditions.
  • Order parts, tools, materials, and equipment as required to perform assigned duties
  • Housekeeping, inventory control and other pertinent coverage.
  • Review and analyze production scheduling requirements to determine products, materials, and actions necessary to ensure the availability of sufficient materials and hardware to meet schedules
  • Identify, investigate, analyze and determine best solutions and coordinates the resolution of problems to ensure adherence to quality standards, schedules and budgets for material cost
  • Occasionally perform in-depth analysis of complex problems related to material requirement, inventories, schedules and configuration control
