About The Position

The Production Inventory Control Clerk is responsible for managing manufacturing orders, updating production flow boards, and coordinating with Operations and Supply Chain personnel to address material shortages. This role involves completing inventory transactions in the ERP system, monitoring workflow and schedules to ensure on-time delivery, and providing training and assistance to other employees. The position also requires adherence to action and communication protocols for deviations in processes or materials, and performing other assigned duties.

Requirements

• Commitment to a safety culture where safety is the first consideration before starting any task.
• Strong computer skills with emphasis on XA and Microsoft Office including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills both up and down throughout the facility.
• Solid analytical and planning skills.
• Proficient in problem analysis and resolution.
• Effective knowledge and understanding of manufacturing process.
• Strong team player.
• High School Diploma, GED or similar experience.
• Three to five years’ experience in Operations, Production Control and/or Supply Chain.

Nice To Haves

• Associate degree or vocational school/training a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work every scheduled work day including weekends and overtime as required.
• Understand and comply with all PPE requirements at all times, work safely every day and encourage all team members to do the same.
• Generate Manufacturing Orders and update production flow boards as units are added or schedule changes are made.
• Work with Operations and Supply Chain personnel to manage material shortage problems in a timely manner.
• Completed inventory transaction required in the ERP system
• Monitor workflow and schedules to ensure on-time delivery.
• Provide training and assistance to other employees as assigned.
• Follow action and communication protocols for nonstandard deviation in processes or materials.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
