About The Position

Gradient is seeking a US-based Production Intern to join our Production Team, responsible for managing and executing in-real-life activations and events. This paid internship offers $1,500 per month and is ideal for current students and recent graduates interested in event production. We prefer candidates who can commit to a minimum of six months to gain comprehensive experience and see events through from start to finish. While we have a strong preference for NY-based candidates for hands-on involvement, the role is open to US-based applicants. The internship provides an opportunity to learn the intricacies of experiential marketing and event production within a fast-paced, creatively led, high-end agency serving clients in the spirits, fashion, film, and luxury industries.

Responsibilities

  • Perform supportive tasks to the production team.
  • Research the brand, including past activations.
  • Research venues for projects.
  • Contact and source all necessary venue information for projects, including availability, rental fees, A/V, catering, permitting, power needs, timing, security, etc.
  • Build venue decks for clients.
  • Research and contact vendors for information.
  • Source decor elements for events.
  • Fill out necessary sheets in the Master Production Booklet (decor sourcing, travel info, contact info, venue info, etc.).
  • Lead fulfillment of gift bags or inventory, when necessary.
  • Contribute to brainstorming sessions, offering creative ideas and solutions to enhance client campaigns.
  • Take notes on all internal and external calls.
  • Support the lead production team onsite with check-in, errands, set-up, and management of attendee experience.
  • Oversee back-of-house maintenance, including crew meals, radios, rentals, and production boxes.
  • Provide management support for select vendors (cleaning, security, rentals, crew meals, etc.).
  • Maintain the Gradient standard in all aspects of work, including ways of working, attire, mannerisms, and protocols.
