About The Position
Inspection of product to check size, appearance and function.
Requirements
- High School diploma or 1 to 3 years manufacturing experience.
- 1 to 3 years hands-on production experience, to include blueprint reading, use & interpretation of micrometers, calipers, angle gages, height gages, hardness tester, optical comparator, carbon determinator, torque tester, X-ray plating thickness tester, and data collection equipment.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide decimals and fractions.
- Work from drawings, specifications and formulas involving limited detail.

- Basic computing skills.
Responsibilities
- ANSI inspection of product to check size, appearance, and function of parts prior to finishing operations.
- Using established benchmarks, and working with Value Stream Managers and Quality Assurance personnel, determines suitability of parts for finishing operations.
- Work with Value Stream Managers, Production Supervisors, and Quality Assurance personnel in writing scrap or process change notices to correct non-conforming product.
- Perform product audits on product at various operations throughout the facility.
- Perform other duties as necessary.
