About The Position

The Perelman Performing Arts Center (PAC NYC) opened in the Fall of 2023 and is envisioned as an anchor of the World Trade Center site. PAC NYC produces and presents multiple projects in theatre, dance, music, and chamber opera across its three flexible and intimate performance spaces. Requirements

  • Part-time availability (up to 10 hours/week).
  • Availability for about 5-10 hours a week on an as-needed basis in weeks with high volume of new hires.
  • One week of training required.
  • High volume weeks anticipated in September – November 2026.
  • Employee will be advised of anticipated work weeks on a quarterly basis.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the onboarding of new hires for the production department.
  • Instruct new hires through the onboarding process on paper or on a computer.
  • Check I-9 paperwork and identification.
  • Add new hires into ADP (In JV8 or DWU as appropriate).
  • File new hire paperwork on People and Culture archive folders.
  • Cross-reference relevant information to Curtain Time.
  • As directed, assist with the weekly payroll process.
  • Add non-union and teamster employees into Curtain Time.
  • Assist in the creation of payroll spreadsheet for DWU.
  • Assist with monthly benefit reports for Production Labor unions as assigned.
  • Petty Cash Counting and Tracking as Assigned.
  • Invoice Tracking as assigned.
  • Other related tasks as assigned and required.
