About The Position

The Production Hourly Team Member is responsible for processing poultry products in accordance with USDA regulations, Pilgrim's quality standards, food safety requirements, and animal welfare guidelines. This position performs a variety of production-related duties, including cutting, trimming, packaging, inspecting, and handling poultry products while maintaining a safe, efficient, and clean work environment. Team members are expected to uphold Pilgrim's commitment that Safety Is A Condition and contribute to meeting production and quality goals.

Poultry Experience

Responsibilities

Process poultry products using tools, manual labor, and equipment according to USDA and Pilgrim's standards.
Perform product handling tasks such as cutting, trimming, packaging, inspecting, and sorting products.
Operate production equipment safely and efficiently.
Monitor equipment operations and report malfunctions or safety concerns promptly.
Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with sanitation requirements.
Follow all safety, food safety, biosecurity, and animal welfare policies and procedures.
Support team members by sharing knowledge and contributing to a positive work environment.
Participate in continuous improvement and problem-solving initiatives.
Perform duties in various areas of production as needed to support business operations.
Meet established production, quality, and safety objectives.
Perform other duties as assigned.
