About The Position

This position is responsible for ensuring that wire shelving is racked efficiently onto and off the paint line. It is also responsible for packaging painted shelving. The work environment is manufacturing.

Requirements

• Attained at least a “meets standards” on most recent performance evaluation
• Must have good communication skills
• Pass background check and drug screen (if an external candidate)
• Pass applicable WorkSteps Physical testing
• Ability to work in the United States
• Basic verbal and written understanding of the English language

Responsibilities

• Place shelving pieces onto racks.
• Remove painted shelving pieces from racks onto pallets.
• Pack bundles of shelving units for shipping.
• Cutting boards – make boards for pallets to place product onto during packing.
• General housekeeping/sweeping of work area.
• Comply with the quality control process.
• Comply with all rules and regulations, including safety.
• Maintain order of the work area.
• Other duties, as assigned.
