About The Position

The Production Group Lead - Pump Stabilizing is responsible for ensuring overall compliance with quality, safety, and operational policies and procedures. This role involves fostering strong communication and relationships within the production team and with support departments, maintaining key performance indicators, and assisting in continuous improvement activities. The lead will also coordinate cross-training, manage raw materials, conduct paperwork audits, and promote a sense of ownership for cleanliness and production targets. Additionally, the role involves working closely with operators to address equipment and process deficiencies, leading direct reports through training and performance management, and operating within the company's core values.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Requires frequent periods of walking, standing, bending, climbing.
  • May occasionally lift, push, pull and carry minimal weights.
  • Exposed to heat, cold, noise, dust – must wear hearing protection, safety shoes, hair/beard net, uniform.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure overall compliance with quality, safety, and operational policies and procedures.
  • Establish and foster strong relationships between production and maintenance/sanitation personnel.
  • Maintain key performance indicators (KPI) and assist/lead in continuous improvement activities.
  • Support and assist with coordinating all cross-training activities.
  • Confirm/Prepare raw materials 5 days in advance of production dates, report out shorts/issues, and provide daily tank inventory.
  • Complete daily reports (attendance, Co-ordinate rework staging, batch system documentation, WMS consumption).
  • Perform regular paperwork audits (quality, cleaning, production) and report out deficiencies.
  • Create a sense of ownership within the production team for clean and tidy production areas.
  • Assist Supervisor/Operators with 5S program and perform regular audits.
  • Assist Operators/Supervisor to meet production targets and schedules.
  • Create a sense of urgency and ownership for the achievement of production targets.
  • Complete and record hourly targets, immediately report out targets missed for 2 consecutive hours to Supervisor.
  • Work closely with production operators to ensure equipment deficiencies are identified/corrected and assist with work orders.
  • Work closely with production operators to ensure process deficiencies are identified, recorded, and solutions are implemented.
  • Ensure all activities are properly documented and reported to the supervisor.
  • Lead direct reports in training, work assignments, and performance issues.
  • Provide regular report outs to the Supervisor, including recommending personnel actions.
  • Assist Supervisor with documenting standard work instructions.
