Requirements

2+ years of experience in prepress, print production, packaging graphics, production art, sign production, label production, digital or commercial printing.
Advanced working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator.
Experience preparing customer-supplied artwork for print production.
Understanding of: Bleed, Trim, Safe area, Resolution, Vector vs Raster artwork, CMYK color spaces, Color theory.
Strong attention to detail and quality control.
Ability to follow documented workflows and standard operating procedures.
Ability to manage multiple jobs and changing priorities in a production environment.

Nice To Haves

Experience in commercial print, packaging, label, sign, wide-format, or prepress environments.
Strong understanding of Adobe Illustrator and print-ready file preparation.
Understand color management, color correction, and print reproduction.
Curious and love troubleshooting problems through to resolution.
Ability to adapt to shifting priorities in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

Review, preflight, and troubleshoot customer artwork files.
Prepare production-ready files using Adobe Illustrator and Hybrid software products.
Troubleshoot customer artwork to optimize print quality and production efficiency.
Perform color corrections matching to meet customer expectations, using color measurement devices and software.
Use RIP software and prepress tools to prepare files for digital production.
Support sample production and proofing workflows.
Perform quality control checks to ensure artwork accuracy before production.
Create and maintain production references and digital archives.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support production goals.
Participate in continuous improvement and print-quality initiatives.
