Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in prepress, print production, packaging graphics, production art, sign production, label production, digital or commercial printing.
  • Advanced working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator.
  • Experience preparing customer-supplied artwork for print production.
  • Understanding of: Bleed, Trim, Safe area, Resolution, Vector vs Raster artwork, CMYK color spaces, Color theory.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality control.
  • Ability to follow documented workflows and standard operating procedures.
  • Ability to manage multiple jobs and changing priorities in a production environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in commercial print, packaging, label, sign, wide-format, or prepress environments.
  • Strong understanding of Adobe Illustrator and print-ready file preparation.
  • Understand color management, color correction, and print reproduction.
  • Curious and love troubleshooting problems through to resolution.
  • Ability to adapt to shifting priorities in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

  • Review, preflight, and troubleshoot customer artwork files.
  • Prepare production-ready files using Adobe Illustrator and Hybrid software products.
  • Troubleshoot customer artwork to optimize print quality and production efficiency.
  • Perform color corrections matching to meet customer expectations, using color measurement devices and software.
  • Use RIP software and prepress tools to prepare files for digital production.
  • Support sample production and proofing workflows.
  • Perform quality control checks to ensure artwork accuracy before production.
  • Create and maintain production references and digital archives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support production goals.
  • Participate in continuous improvement and print-quality initiatives.
