About The Position

This position will rotate through various general laborer roles on the 2nd shift, including Stacker, Scaler, and Block Handler, for breaks, lunches, or as directed. The role involves completing tasks for the assigned job, maintaining a clean and safe work area, and performing other related duties as requested. Specific duties for the Stacker role include sorting patties as they come off the conveyor belt and stacking them neatly in designated boxes to meet weight specifications, requiring repetitive movements in a fast-paced environment for extended periods. For the Scaler role, responsibilities include checking and adjusting box weights, ensuring plastic liners securely cover the product before taping, and potentially conducting box count checks. The Scaler also inspects equipment before use to ensure proper setup and operation.

Requirements

Basic math, language, and reading skills.
Ability to handle equipment and vehicles safely and sensibly.
Ability to maintain a single task focus and situational awareness.
Must be able to move and lift up to 60-pound wooden skid or pallet.
Able to work in a cold refrigerated environment for up to 10 hours.
