Requirements

  • Operates liquefied gas or electric powered industrial truck equipped with lifting devices such as a forklift, to push, pull, lift, stack, tier, or move products, equipment, or materials.
  • Moves levers and presses pedals to drive forklift and control movement of lifting apparatus.
  • Unloads trucks and stacks products from the production line by raising and lowering lifting device.
  • Inventories materials on work floor and supply workers with materials as needed.
  • Loads or unloads materials in accordance with load sheets or other appropriate directives.
  • Records materials loaded and unloaded in accordance with established procedure.
  • Loads or unloads materials onto or off pallets, skids, or lifting device.
  • Dispositions returned, outdated, and damaged product and materials according to established procedures.
  • Lubricates forklifts, recharges batteries, or replaces liquefied gas tank as appropriate.
  • Completes pre-shift safety inspections in compliance with company standards and policies.
  • Wears company provided uniform and safety devices as appropriate to comply with safety and standards and procedures.
  • Completes all required Safety, Food Safety and Good Manufacturing Practices training and demonstrates compliance on a continual basis.
