About The Position

Building a great career never tasted so good! We are currently seeking a qualified individual for our Full-Time Production Runner position, to join our Nottingham, PA team! SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday SHIFT: 3rd Shift: 11pm-7am Additional hours may be required due to business demands.

Requirements

  • Must complete a background check and pre-employment drug screen, as well as a preplacement screening which tests the ability to perform the physical requirements of the position.
  • Must have vision corrected to 20/30 or better with normal depth perception and peripheral vision
  • Must be able to work with proper PPE, airborne seasoning and cardboard dust
  • Must be able to work in a noisy and fast-paced environment.
  • High school diploma or GED; or one to three months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Must possess a stable work history with good references
  • Sustain concentration for up to 3 hours at a time.
  • Must have a forklift certification (or willing to acquire) and maintain safe forklift operation at all times.
  • Must understand Safe Quality Food documentation, labeling and storage procedures.
  • Must be able to use a handheld mobile device for transferring and inventory functions.
  • Must be able to work in Microsoft Office programs, including Excel, D365 and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operating a forklift and bringing Raw Materials to production lines and returning those items to warehouse locations when finished running.
  • Using computers to make entries into D365 for various Production-related warehouse functions.
  • Perform raw materials storage and placement guidelines both in handheld and on computer in D365.
  • Complete proper rotation procedure of first expired/first out and adhere to system directed use and put away.
  • Complete forklift inspection and cleaning, document the inspection and submit the inspection report to the supervisor. Must report any problems found during the inspection right away.
  • Ensure that manufacturing data is accurately entered and tracked in the ERP system, including production orders, materials, and finished goods.
  • Update and maintain ERP records to reflect real-time data, including production status, material usage, and equipment maintenance.
  • Enter production and manufacturing data into the ERP system, including raw material consumption, machine usage, labor hours, and quality control data.
  • Track inventory levels in real-time and coordinate with the necessary teams to ensure timely material replenishment.
  • Other ERP responsibilities and other duties as assigned.
  • Follow all safety guidelines as described in the safety code of conduct while working in an environment that requires climbing and working in confined spaces.
  • Must wear proper personal protective equipment for each performing duty.
  • Must attend all safety and SQF (Safe Quality Food) meetings/training and work by these standards.
  • Responsible for filling in for different production positions, including giving breaks if necessary.
  • Responsible for communicating with coworkers, supervisor or other departments based on production needs.
