About The Position

Supports the Production Manager in overseeing the PLG Assembly process to produce products as efficiently as possible while maintaining the company policies and procedures. This position requires on-site presence and regular attendance to perform the essential duties.

Requirements

High school diploma or the equivalent is required.
Minimum three (3) years’ experience as supervisor, or experience equivalent to supervisor level position.
Background in shaped charge manufacturing and the process involved in fabricating a quality product.
Demonstrates strong leadership behavior, acting as a positive role model for others.
Attention to detail and leads by example.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Able to communicate effectively one on one and before groups of employees of the organization.
Able to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
Able to manage and work with people in a professional way to accomplish the tasks assigned to this position.
Familiar with customer requirements.
Good hands-on mechanical aptitude and ability.
Able to read, understand, learn, and follow written and verbal safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals and blueprints.
Able to write routine reports and correspondence.
Understanding of European Union CE Certification system.
Proficient in MS Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat.
Detailed understanding of the importance of Charge symmetry, head heights, basic charge design, etc.
Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
Able to compute rate, ratio and percent.
Must have a valid driver’s license and record that conforms to company’s insurance policies, ATF, DOT, and State or other required Hazmat training.
Must meet Hunting Titan/OSHA fork truck driver license requirements.
Able to meet ATF & regulatory security requirements.
Must be US Citizen, or lawful permanent resident of the United States (student Visa does not qualify), in accordance with ATF regulations.

Nice To Haves

Formal training in leadership, management and/or supervision, preferred.
Bilingual a plus.

Responsibilities

Leads shop floor personnel in a safe, secure, and high-quality production.
Carries out work schedules in accordance with the plans of the Production Manager.
Acquires and assesses information required for production.
Responds to internal and external customer inquiries, offering timely solutions.
Maintains and improves tools to support attendance and operating documentation.
Promotes basic production goals.
Develop and execute procedures ensuring compliance with ATF/DOT/OSHA /Local compliance and regulatory standards.
Identifies training needs and works with the Production Manager to implement solutions.
Reviews and addresses evaluations as needed and required for the department.
Fills in for Production Manager when needed.
On-Call availability required for after-hours and weekend dispatching.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
