About The Position

Lewis Bakeries is hiring Production Floaters to help us bake and package quality products. As a Production Floater, you will operate and monitor production equipment, keep machines running efficiently, and help produce safe, high-quality bakery products. You will play an important role in maintaining our food safety, product quality, and workplace safety standards every day.

Requirements

Lift and stack materials weighing up to 25 pounds overhead on a repetitive basis.
Push and pull heavy pan carts throughout the bakery.
Lift ingredient bags and other materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
Perform physical tasks throughout your shift in a fast-paced production environment.
Work comfortably in both hot and cold conditions, including warmer production areas during the summer months.
Successfully complete all pre-employment requirements, including a background check and drug screen.
Communicate effectively in English (speaking, reading, writing, and understanding) to support workplace safety and team communication.
Complete a 60-day probationary period, during which your performance, attendance, and overall job performance will be evaluated.
Maintain perfect attendance throughout the 60-day probationary period, as attendance is a critical requirement for successful completion of probation.
