About The Position

The Production Floater plays a key role in maintaining efficiency across production operations by providing flexibility support wherever needed. The Production Floater is cross-trained across multiple production areas and is responsible for stepping in to cover absences, balance workloads, and assist with bottlenecks. This position requires adaptability, strong teamwork, and a working knowledge of multiple processes to ensure smooth and continuous production. This is a full-time, 1st shift position. The schedule is Monday through Friday from 7am to 3:30pm.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent, required
  • 1-2 years of experience in manufacturing or food/beverage production, required.
  • Ability to learn multiple production tasks quickly and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Willingness to work flexible tasks and shifts as needed.
  • Understanding of basic safety and quality standards in manufacturing.
  • Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Commitment to following safety protocols and company policies.

Nice To Haves

  • Forklift experience and/or certification, preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Remove finished goods from the production line and stack them securely on pallets.
  • Ensure accurate labeling, counts, and organization of pallets for storage or shipment.
  • Assist with operational support of the Variety Pack line as needed.
  • Manage depallitizer equipment for efficient loading and material handling.
  • Operate a forklift to transport materials and finished goods throughout the facility.
  • Support production flow by filling in during employee absences, high-volume periods, or line slowdowns.
  • Assist with stocking materials (cardboard, packaging supplies, ingredients) to prevent production delays.

  • Monitor and maintain production quality standards in coordination with the Quality Control team.
  • Collaborate with the Production Associates, Leads, and Supervisors to ensure efficiency and consistency across shifts.
  • Perform duties near machinery, forklift trucks, and other ancillary production activities.
  • Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
  • Work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the production area to uphold sanitation standards and prevent contamination.
  • Adhere to all company safety policies to prevent accidents and contamination.
