About The Position

AlphaGraphics is seeking a full-time Production Finishing Specialist / Bindery Operator to finish printed projects and help prepare completed jobs for delivery or shipment. The role involves operating production-finishing equipment to assemble finished products, following work-order specifications and quality-control procedures, and keeping production records. The position is part of a small, fast-paced team focused on dependable collaboration and quality customer service. Applicants must have prior experience at an established printing company.

Requirements

Past experience as a Production Finishing Specialist or Bindery Operator at a printing company.
At least 2 years of experience operating finishing equipment in the print, signage, or a related industry.
Positive, professional attitude and strong work ethic.
Problem-solving skills and cooperative interpersonal skills.
Ability to work quickly and neatly while multitasking.
Basic math skills and ability to use a computer.
Ability to lift 50 pounds safely and work over a waist-high table.
Effective oral and written communication skills.
Ability to follow instructions, prioritize workload, and work with others in a team environment.

Responsibilities

Read work orders to determine finishing instructions and project specifications.
Operate finishing equipment, including cutters, folders, collators/stitchers, and other available production-finishing machines, to assemble finished products.
Stage or prepare completed jobs for delivery or shipment when needed.
Maintain records, including daily production records, using specified forms.
Follow quality-control procedures provided by the center’s owner or manager.
Perform other duties needed to provide high-quality customer service and product output.
Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines while working under pressure.
