About The Position
Under general supervision, this role involves working on the production line to build manufactured housing as part of a team. The position requires performing quality work in a fast-paced and consistent manner. Responsibilities include performing all manual labor in the assigned area, maintaining a neat and clean workspace, reading and using a tape measure, interpreting blueprints and orders, communicating effectively with coworkers, and utilizing hand tools, air tools, and electrical tools.
Requirements
- Must have a strong work ethic
- Must have the ability to work quickly and methodically
- Must understand safety procedures
- Must have good teamwork skills
- Must live the Champion Operating Principles
- Less than high school education; or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in manufacturing/modular housing desired but not required.
