About The Position
The production equipment technician apprentice is responsible for the routine maintenance of embroidery machines, heat seal presses, digital printers, and laser machines. This role involves the repair of cap frames and other machine attachments, as well as cleaning, lubrication, and minor repairs of embroidery machines. The apprentice will also perform preventative maintenance on all machinery and maintain daily records of machine tasks performed. Additional duties may be assigned.
Requirements
- Ability to follow verbal directions.
- Ability to read instructions in English.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
- Ability to perform troubleshooting/problem solving tasks.
- Ability to work with tools and machinery.
- Skill set to learn how to troubleshoot and repair all equipment.
Responsibilities
- Repair of Cap Frames & other machine attachments.
- Cleaning, lubrication, and minor repairs of embroidery machines.
- PM on all machinery.
- Daily record keeping of machine tasks performed.
- Additional duties as assigned.
