This position reports to: Continuous Improvement Manager __ Your role and responsibilities In this role, you will have the opportunity to support production process definition to ensure optimization of cost, quality, and on-time delivery of product. Each day, you will participate in the sequence definition, cycle time calculation, and analysis of the working phases of new production processes/products. You will also showcase your expertise by sharing cycle time data with internal teams. The work model for the role is: on site This role is contributing to the Electrification Division in Pinetops, North Carolina .

Requirements

  • 3 years of experience working on design and implementation of electromechanical projects (design & execution of fixturing, wiring, flow systems, etc)
  • Mechanical or Electromechanical technician.
  • Ability to understand mechanical and electrical drawings.
  • Be able to develop them.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to communicate and work with diverse discipline project teams
  • Ability to learn new methods and technologies
  • Attention to detail
  • Candidate must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently
  • Minimum of Associate Degree in program related field
  • A collaborative, solution-focused approach and strong written and spoken communication skills

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge on Robotics, control systems and automation is a plus.
  • Knowledge on 3D cad software and 3D printing is desirable (Autocad, Solidworks)
  • Knowledge in Lean Manufacturing tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Preparing technical documentation regarding the process phases, related methods, and cycle times.
  • Supporting production during start-ups by training indirect and direct staff.
  • Ensuring that updated process and technical documentation are provided to Supply Chain Management teams to support supplier evaluations and proper supplier agreements.
  • Participating in the definition of action plans, training of relevant Maintenance and Production teams, and other support activities during the internal/external process and equipment start-up.
