This position reports to: Continuous Improvement Manager __ Your role and responsibilities In this role, you will have the opportunity to support production process definition to ensure optimization of cost, quality, and on-time delivery of product. Each day, you will participate in the sequence definition, cycle time calculation, and analysis of the working phases of new production processes/products. You will also showcase your expertise by sharing cycle time data with internal teams. The work model for the role is: on site This role is contributing to the Electrification Division in Pinetops, North Carolina .

Requirements

3 years of experience working on design and implementation of electromechanical projects (design & execution of fixturing, wiring, flow systems, etc)
Mechanical or Electromechanical technician.
Ability to understand mechanical and electrical drawings.
Be able to develop them.
Strong interpersonal skills to communicate and work with diverse discipline project teams
Ability to learn new methods and technologies
Attention to detail
Candidate must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently
Minimum of Associate Degree in program related field
A collaborative, solution-focused approach and strong written and spoken communication skills

Nice To Haves

Knowledge on Robotics, control systems and automation is a plus.
Knowledge on 3D cad software and 3D printing is desirable (Autocad, Solidworks)
Knowledge in Lean Manufacturing tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

Preparing technical documentation regarding the process phases, related methods, and cycle times.
Supporting production during start-ups by training indirect and direct staff.
Ensuring that updated process and technical documentation are provided to Supply Chain Management teams to support supplier evaluations and proper supplier agreements.
Participating in the definition of action plans, training of relevant Maintenance and Production teams, and other support activities during the internal/external process and equipment start-up.
