About The Position

Boeing is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Production Engineering Manager to support a Proprietary Program in St. Louis, MO. In this pivotal role as Production Engineering Manager, you will lead a dynamic team of Manufacturing, Tooling, Numerical Controlled (NC) Programming, Liaison, and Industrial Engineers, driving efforts to define, stabilize, and improve the production system. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • 1+ year of experience leading or managing engineering teams
  • Experience with production and assembly processes.
  • Ability to obtain a US Secret Security Clearance post-start.
  • Must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience in the aerospace industry, particularly with military or defense programs.
  • Knowledge of Boeing's organizational processes, program plans, and policies.
  • Demonstrated ability in budget management and business process improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Manage employees performing engineering and technical activities in Production Engineering.
  • Develop and execute project and process plans, implementing policies and procedures.
  • Create and lead a team to execute tooling and model-based instruction (MBI) release curves.
  • Set operational goals and acquire necessary resources for projects and processes.
  • Provide technical management of suppliers and lead process improvement initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers, stakeholders, and team members.
  • Oversee and approve technical approaches, products, and processes.
  • Manage, develop, and motivate employees to achieve high performance.
