Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Production Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering with twelve (12) months experience.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize CATIA CAD software to review mechanical part designs and systems to evaluate manufacturing feasibility and cost efficiency.
  • Collaborate with product engineering teams to ensure cost-effective solutions.
  • Work closely with manufacturing teams to evaluate and improve production workflows, equipment utilization, and process efficiency.
  • Partner with manufacturing teams to analyze production processes.
  • Support value analysis/value engineering initiatives.
  • Support continuous improvement of cost planning processes, manufacturing and operational efficiency.
  • Stay informed on industry best practices, manufacturing technologies, and cost optimization strategies.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive cost plans for new and existing vehicle programs, including material, tooling, manufacturing, and engineering costs.
  • Conduct detailed cost analysis of components, systems, and manufacturing process.
  • Conduct “should-cost” analyses to benchmark supplier pricing.
  • Develop and track KPIs.
  • Monitor cost trends and provide actionable insights to ensure alignment with financial targets.
  • Prepare and present cost forecasts and budget proposals throughout the product development lifecycle.
