They will work with the members of the Engineering department, the Riverdale Assembly Manager, and others in the Production environment to design, develop, and maintain Generant production processes. The Production Engineer will provide technical expertise and be very knowledgeable in all aspects of our valve production environment. They will have a role in Generant product development efforts as the project moves toward Release to Production and will be the primary product line supervisor for the initial launch production launch period for all products.

Requirements

  • Technical expertise in the area of design and manufacturing.
  • Ability to effectively use certain computer programs including, but not limited to, Solidworks, Excel, and Word.
  • Sufficient knowledge of Generant internal systems and QMS.
  • Problem solving , customer service, oral communication, written communication, teamwork.
  • Adaptability, dependability, initiative, work ethic.
  • Bachelors Degree in an Engineering specialty
  • 2 Years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Fluent in English
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both in written and oral formats.
  • Ability to use mathematics in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to use measurement instruments.
  • Presents numerical data effectively
  • High level of creativity.
  • Advanced problem solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • General knowledge of manufacturing processes and principles.
  • General knowledge of tools and use methods.
  • Participate in design review meetings for products and processes.
  • Manage time appropriately to perform job responsibilities in a timely manner.
  • Develop ability to manage many production projects simultaneously.
  • Identify and purchase components required for production fixture maintenance.
  • Respect the Quality Management System as production processes are maintained or revised. This will include some end customer communication for critical processes.
  • Identify and execute process improvements for production processes while ensuring that all production documentation and training is updated appropriately.
  • Guide and assist other engineering and production personnel who have been tasked with projects in the production environment.
  • Other duties as assigned.
