About The Position

As a Production Engineer, you will support the design, interpretation, and analysis of technical solutions to complex manufacturing projects. Your essential job functions will include leading or supporting engineering programs, projects, or tasks that require engineering oversight in manufacturing. You will ensure the quality of deliverables meets or exceeds manufacturing and materials standards and assess them to ensure they meet the intended warfighting purpose. This role involves planning and performing materials and manufacturing research, design development, and other engineering assignments in conformance with specifications. You will also assist the Government with technical/engineering aspects of major manufacturing and production projects and coordinate across DoW materials engineering communities to support delivery milestones. Additionally, you will track and advise on design trades and their associated cost, schedule, and technical impacts, and coordinate with materials engineering and manufacturing communities to integrate materials supportability requirements into development efforts.

Requirements

• 20+ years of relevant DoW program experience
• Minimum 2 years experience in SAP and/or SCI environment with at least 1 yr within the last 5 yrs
• Ability to work on high-visibility, mission-critical aspects of a program and perform all functional duties independently
• Ability to communicate both orally and in writing concisely and with technical accuracy
• Ability to translate complex ideas and data into simple, actionable recommendations or easily differentiated courses of action
• Active TS/SCI /SAP clearance
• U.S. Citizenship is required.

Nice To Haves

• Master's Degree in a related field, preferred.

Responsibilities
