About The Position
Alcal Specialty Contracting, Inc. is seeking a full-time, hourly Production Engineer for their Fremont, CA location. This role involves managing schedules, monitoring operations, analyzing projects, collaborating with various teams, coordinating with vendors, and assisting with budget monitoring and pre-planning. The position requires adherence to all safety rules and regulations.
Requirements
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office applications such as Word, Excel and Outlook
- Must be fluent in Spanish
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to operate a variety of office equipment
- Valid CA driver’s license
Responsibilities
- Distributing and maintaining daily driver schedule, monthly production schedules and monthly projections
- Monitoring yard tasks and all yard/ fleet operations
- Analyzing projects from an operations standpoint
- Collaborating with production/ sales team with RFIs, Submittals, Project Close-Out documents
- Working with vendors to coordinate material delivery to various projects
- Assisting with budget monitoring and job site pre-planning
- Abides by all safety rules set forth by company and governmental regulatory agencies ensures that hazardous conditions are reported and corrected
