About The Position

C&M Precision Tech is seeking a Production Engineer for their Swiss Department in Hudson, NH. This role is ideal for a talented Swiss machinist capable of complex full setups and troubleshooting manufacturability issues. The Production Engineer will serve as the technical resource for Swiss CNC machine operators, bridging the gap between Engineering and the manufacturing floor, and mentoring operators. The position offers a 4-day work week.

Responsibilities

Apply knowledge of product design/machine programming, fabrication, assembly, tooling, and materials, soliciting observations from Operators/Setup Operators to troubleshoot manufacturability issues.
Work to implement new processes and optimize existing jobs for production runs.
Assist in the implementation of new manufacturing equipment and automation.
Identify and resolve issues related to machine malfunctions, program errors or material defects.
Help ensure the timely and proper flow of information between the Production Floor and Engineering (i.e. program changes/issues).
Work with the Engineering team to analyze and improve existing machining processes to enhance efficiency, reduce cycle times, and minimize material waste.
Assist Sales and Engineering to analyze/review Customer prints to determine manufacturability as required, collaborating to select tools, fixtures and other necessary equipment/operations.
Work with internal partners to ensure manufacturability, quality and efficient production flow.
Assist with the optimization, documentation and maintenance of machine setup processes, standardizing processes.
Assist with CNC program creation and editing as needed.
