About The Position

ASML is seeking a Production Engineer to join their Manufacturing Operations in Wilton, Connecticut. This role is part of the Production Engineering Group and focuses on supporting the production of DUV Reticle Stages. The primary goal is to achieve 'World Class' support for manufacturing, ensuring high product quality, short lead-times, and rapid 'time-to-market' through continuous improvement of new and existing products and processes. The position involves collaboration with other Production Engineers and Technicians. There is potential for exposure to strong magnetic fields, high-voltage, and currents. Responsibilities include BOM structure checks, component evaluations, defining and creating manufacturing procedures and specifications, introducing new products into production within an existing 'Concurrent Engineering' environment, creating and designing production tooling & qualification tests, generating technical work instructions and test plans, and supporting production issues through troubleshooting of Electro-Mechanical systems and sub-systems. The role also involves evaluating and dispositioning failed parts with proposed solutions and reviewing Failure Analysis Reports from suppliers to validate root-cause of failures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Mechatronics or BS in Software or Electrical Engineering
  • 3+ years in an Engineering environment

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with precision mechanics, a plus
  • Working knowledge of Unigraphics, SAP, Unix a plus

Responsibilities

  • BOM structure checks and component evaluations
