Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Previous experience in a food manufacturing environment is a plus
Previous experience in a food packaging department a plus
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and walk/stand for long periods of time

Responsibilities

Performs weighing and labeling of ingredients for the blending and liquid processing areas with computerized inventory systems (WINS, SAP).
Accurately maintains computerized documents.
Assures proper quantity of pre-weighed materials are available and used.
Adds ingredients to blender manually and automatically (DeltaV).
Makes sanitary connections for CIP, COP, and other forms of cleaning.
Unload, inspect and hook-up Super Sacks of dry blended materials.
Complete all necessary transactions, reports, and documentation.
Perform assigned preventative maintenance on equipment.
Disassemble and assemble machinery for product change overs.
Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment.
Must be able to use independent judgement and work well with a team.
