About The Position

This role involves performing various tasks on the production line, including counting parts, identifying machine downtime, inserting and removing materials, maintaining workstation organization using the 5S methodology, and executing cleaning and inspection plans. The position requires adherence to machining steps outlined in the work plan, accurate recording of production data (good parts, rejected parts, rework parts, machining time, downtime, and deviations) in the ERP system, and managing material requests and consumption postings within the ERP system. Additionally, the role includes packing and labeling finished parts according to specifications, conducting quality checks, operating individual and multi-systems, and initiating system startups/restarts based on documentation. The employee will also be responsible for fixing temporary machine interruptions within their scope, escalating technical issues as per the defined matrix, and performing set-up processes.

Requirements

  • Ability to count good parts, rejected parts, and parts that require reworking.
  • Skill in identifying and reporting machine downtime.
  • Proficiency in inserting and removing materials from systems.
  • Understanding and application of the 5S methodology.
  • Ability to follow cleaning and inspection plans.
  • Capability to perform machining steps as per the work plan.
  • Accuracy in confirming production data in the ERP system.
  • Competence in executing material requests and consumption postings in the ERP system.
  • Adherence to packing and labeling specifications.
  • Execution of defined quality checks.
  • Experience with individual and multi-system operation.
  • Ability to start/restart systems according to documentation.
  • Skill in fixing temporary machine interruptions within defined responsibility.
  • Understanding of escalation procedures for technical problems.

Responsibilities

  • Confirming the good parts, rejected parts, and parts that require reworking, the machining time and downtime and the reasons for any deviations in the defined ERP system.
  • Executing the material request and the material consumption posting in the defined ERP system.
  • Packing and labeling produced parts as per the defined specifications.
  • Carrying out defined quality checks.
  • Using individual systems and/or implementing multi-system operation.
  • Starting/restarting systems as per the documentation or specifications.
  • Fixing temporary machine interruptions that fall within the defined responsibility.
  • Escalating technical problems in line with the defined escalation matrix.
  • Carrying out set-up process.
