We partner with many of the nation's leading homebuilders to provide electrical and low-voltage installations in new residential construction. We are looking for a skilled Production Electrician to join our Construction team. This position is responsible for wiring new residential homes throughout the construction process, ensuring every installation meets code requirements, builder specifications, and HomePro quality standards. Requirements

  • Strong understanding of residential electrical systems and installation practices.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction blueprints and electrical layouts.
  • Knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work in various weather conditions.
  • Comfortable working on ladders and in active construction environments.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of residential new construction electrical experience preferred.
  • Valid TDLR license, wireman or journeyman license preferred
  • Experience wiring production homes is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform rough-in electrical installation in new residential homes.
  • Install electrical boxes, wiring, circuits, panels, and service equipment.
  • Complete trim-out work including switches, receptacles, light fixtures, smoke detectors, and other electrical devices.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, electrical plans, and builder specifications.
  • Ensure all work complies with local building codes and NEC requirements.
  • Coordinate with supervisors, builders, and other trades to maintain construction schedules.
  • Maintain a clean and organized job site.
  • Properly care for company tools, equipment.
  • Follow all company safety policies and OSHA guidelines.
  • Complete additional duties as assigned by management.
