Production Director - MBC Tysons

McLean Bible ChurchVienna, VA
Onsite

About The Position

McLean Bible Church serves approximately 6,000 people each week across five metro Washington, DC locations, with Tysons as our central broadcast hub. Every Sunday, the worship gathering simultaneously reaches every location and a growing online audience and the Production Director is the person responsible for making sure it lands with excellence, without distraction, every single time. We believe that when the sound is clear, the lighting is intentional, and the visuals serve the moment rather than steal it, we remove obstacles that could hinder people from hearing the Word of God and experiencing the presence of God. We are looking for the person who will step in, own that standard, and raise it further. Reporting to Director of Worship, the Production Director serves as the primary technical producer of every weekend gathering at MBC Tysons translating the worship team's creative vision into a seamless audio, video, and lighting experience in the room and on the broadcast feed. You will lead a large, multi-disciplinary volunteer team across audio, video, lighting, stage management, and graphics; make real-time decisions during live services with calm confidence; and serve as the primary liaison between the Worship & Production Team and the Central AV/Operations Team that supports all five locations. Weekdays are spent investing in people planning with the creative team, developing volunteers, and building a team culture where people show up and bring their best because they know the mission is worth it. This role joins an exceptional team with real vision and long-term intentionality including a Worship & Production Residency/Internship Program in development to raise up the next generation of worship leaders and production specialists from within MBC's own church family. You will operate on a platform that reaches tens of thousands of people across the DMV and online each week, in a church that is serious about its mission of making disciples among the next generation and all nations, beginning right here in greater Washington, DC.
