About The Position

The Production Die Maintenance Area Manager is responsible for the salary pressroom die manager group activities, including safety, project planning, continuous improvement and root cause analysis, large project management activities, etc. This position leads plant initiatives, Kaizen events and other Stellantis Industrial System (SIS) processes, while working closely with die project planning, and pressroom maintenance teams to determine root cause, and resolve issues related to throughput and quality. The Production Die Maintenance Area Manager will lead the die engineering team activities, utilizing Stellantis Industrial System tools and will problem solve, identify and rectify major production stamping equipment issues, quickly and efficiently.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in die maintenance in a high-volume environment
  • At least 2 years of supervisory experience
  • Ability to work any shift and overtime as required
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interface with various levels of employees from hourly represented employees to Senior Leadership
  • Ability to build effective business relationships with plant leadership and customers
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Demonstrated ability to coach / mentor / develop team members
  • Goal oriented self-starter with ability to lead team
  • Experience in continuous improvement systems and lean manufacturing
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
