About The Position

THE·TEAM operates at the epicenter of sports, music and entertainment, serving talent, brands and properties on a global scale. Headquartered in Los Angeles, THE·TEAM's presence spans 28 countries and more than 70 cities. Our brands and properties division works with iconic brands and rights holders, supporting business growth through all marketing disciplines. As THE·TEAM supports hybrid working environments and also acknowledges the benefits of in-office collaboration, our global policy is 3-days per week in-office. To support our rapid growth, THE·TEAM has built a robust internship program designed to introduce driven, hard-working students and young professionals to the sports and entertainment industry, and our company. As a Production Design Intern on THE·TEAM’s Creative + Content team, you will support in delivering creative for some of Canada’s largest and most impactful brands. You will be involved in a variety of campaigns and sporting events, working closely Designers, Creative Leads, Project & Resource Managers, a number of our Account teams, and more. You will experience variety in your day-to-day and have the opportunity to further develop your skills in a fast-paced, agency environment. Ultimately, we are looking for an enthusiastic production designer who is looking to make a tangible impact in the industry. Someone who is exceptionally organized, has a keen eye for design details, and is willing to wear multiple hats to assist our team wherever they are needed. As THE·TEAM supports hybrid working environments, the successful candidate will be expected to be in the office a minimum of 3 days per week, in addition to remote working.

Requirements

  • Fluency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator)
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Solution oriented troubleshooting of problems as they arise with internal teams and suppliers
  • Exceptional organizational skills, especially with file management and archiving
  • Experience reviewing vendor specs and following trafficking requirements
  • Confident multi-tasking in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
  • Applicant must be either a Canadian Citizen, Permanent Resident of Canada, or have the ability to work in Canada.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and produce files based on supplied specifications for print, digital, social and event materials
  • Work and collaborate with Art Directors, Designers and Developers
  • Exhibit knowledge of general design principles and apply them to all work (layouts, colours, typography, hierarchy, etc.)
  • Make requests, changes and adjustments to files
  • Prepare materials for teams and clients including (but not limited to): proofs, mocks, slugs, etc.
  • Ensure that all files are organized and filed according to studio guidelines
  • Provide on-going analysis of studio process and recommend protocol and workflow to improve efficiency and quality of work
