Production Data Analyst

This role is responsible for collecting and analyzing data within the Operations and Production department, identifying key areas of improvement, and implementing initiatives to enhance current processes and procedures. Requirements
- Completion of college diploma in Supply Chain Fundamentals or Engineering
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in an analyst role
- Experience with SAP or similar business systems experience
- Knowledge of manufacturing and equipment for food processing and high-speed packaging, as well as Bakery Manufacturing including ingredients
- Must possess the financial acumen to manage, measure, and improve operational effectiveness and profitability
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written; strong listening skills)
- Strong judgement, analysis and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make decisions
- Strong computer systems (MS Office, ERP systems)
Nice To Haves
- Working Knowledge of Lean/Continuous Improvement experience is an asset
Responsibilities
- Prepare and keep Product Sheets updated including: Pallet Information, Line Operator Information, Packaging Information, Line Setting, Headcount, and Line Layout (including workers position)
- In charge of line reporting process
- Prepare daily reports by Line showing the productivity rates, material efficiency rates and quality consistency
- Ensure NAV, weekly finance Jet Report, Daily Report, and NAFTA Product Report volumes match
- Maintain Live Tracking information system
- Oversee the Line reporting process and look for ways to improve its efficiency while identifying for environment friendly alternatives, such as going paperless
- In charge of the Waste Reporting process. Keep the database up to date and prepare reports to show the findings
- Create and implement a process that allows the company to control and reduce the Labour cost on the floor
- Assist in any projects that allows the company to use actual technology to make the reporting and control more efficient while increasing the connectivity across the business
- Prepare and keep an updated database with pictures with “acceptable” and “nonacceptable” product look for the line to provide a consistent expectation for Give & Go employees
