About The Position

You'll be at the center of attention where you'll be involved in one of four positions: pump, raw, press, and precook.

Requirements

• Successful candidate will have to stand/walk on concrete floors for 10+ hours per day, 6 days per week
• The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 35 pounds, occasionally lift to 75 pounds and sometimes push/and or move up to 100 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
• Experience in a fast-paced, cold, wet, hot, and humid environment from 48 up to more 100 degrees Fahrenheit.
• The noise level is the work environment is usually moderate but sometimes very loud.

• Previous production experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Follow proper department procedures outlined in Daily's training manuals
• Understand bacon specification requirements to ensure quality
• Follow procedures outlined by Department Supervisor/Leads
• Follow Daily's attendance and punctuality rules
• Follow all Daily's food security guidelines
• Follow all Daily's Safety guidelines as outlined in the Safety Handbook
• Assist Department Supervisor, Production Lead and Team Members in meeting production and quality requirement
• Maintain accurate counts
• Adhere to product specifications
• Work at a pace consistent with the required line speed
• Keeping accurate records as needed
• Strict compliance with sanitation requirements
• Always minimize scrap
• Sweeping floor and aisles as instructed
• Keep all scraps picked up from floor in your work area
• Washing buildings and equipment as needed and scheduled
• Keeping all trash and items picked up
• Assisting in cleaning and maintaining office area
• Other duties as assigned
