About The Position

We're looking for production workers for our first (AM) and second (PM) shifts. You'll be at the center of attention where you'll be involved in one of four positions: pump, raw, press, and precook. This role is ideal for team-oriented individuals with a positive attitude, ready to work in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

Must be able to stand/walk on concrete floors for 10+ hours per day, 6 days per week
Must regularly lift and/or move up to 35 pounds, occasionally lift to 75 pounds and sometimes push/and or move up to 100 pounds
Specific vision abilities required: close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
Experience in a fast-paced, cold, wet, hot, and humid environment from 48 up to more 100 degrees Fahrenheit
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but sometimes very loud

Previous production experience is preferred but not required

Responsibilities

Follow proper department procedures outlined in Daily's training manuals
Understand bacon specification requirements to ensure quality
Follow procedures outlined by Department Supervisor/Leads
Follow Daily's attendance and punctuality rules
Follow all Daily's food security guidelines
Follow all Daily's Safety guidelines as outlined in the Safety Handbook
Assist Department Supervisor, Production Lead and Team Members in meeting production and quality requirements
Maintain accurate counts
Adhere to product specifications
Work at a pace consistent with the required line speed
Keeping accurate records as needed
Strict compliance with sanitation requirements
Always minimize scrap
Sweeping floor and aisles as instructed
Keep all scraps picked up from floor in your work area
Washing buildings and equipment as needed and scheduled
Keeping all trash and items picked up
Assisting in cleaning and maintaining office area
Other duties as assigned
