About The Position

This position is with Henkel's Adhesive Technologies business unit, which focuses on providing customers with a competitive advantage through adhesives, sealants, and functional coatings. The Production Coordinator will take ownership of workflow, productivity, and performance within their assigned manufacturing cell, ensuring safe, efficient, and on-time production. This role involves driving continuous improvement, coordinating daily staffing and workload priorities, monitoring process and equipment performance, and supporting employee training and team development. The coordinator will also champion safety, 5S, quality, TPM, and operational excellence standards.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of manufacturing experience with a High School Diploma or GED required
  • Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision while providing leadership, direction, and coaching to production operators.
  • Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical skills with the ability to anticipate bottlenecks, resolve complex production issues, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Effective communicator who leads by example, motivates others, builds teamwork across shifts, and collaborates successfully with employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities, coordinate workflows, provide constructive feedback, and maintain accurate training and process documentation.
  • Hands-on manufacturing expertise, including the ability to use specialized measurement and testing equipment, support TPM and equipment reliability initiatives, uphold safety and quality standards, and obtain Hazardous Materials Handling certification as required.

Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of workflow, productivity, and performance within your assigned manufacturing cell, ensuring safe, efficient, and on-time production.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to increase efficiency, reduce bottlenecks, and improve overall operational performance.
  • Coordinate daily staffing and workload priorities, communicating production needs and reallocating resources to meet changing demands.
  • Monitor process, quality, inventory, and equipment performance using data-driven analysis and implement corrective actions when needed.
  • Support employee training, maintain accurate work instructions and documentation, and help build a high-performing, self-directed team environment.
  • Champion safety, 5S, quality, TPM, and operational excellence standards while providing effective shift handoffs and cross-functional communication.
