About The Position

CNBC is seeking a Production Coordinator based in Englewood Cliffs, NJ. This role reports to the Production Supervisor of the CNBC Hair & Makeup Department and should expect 8 hours+ day with flexibility as business needs allow.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Knowledge of all basic office equipment required
  • Knowledge of photo editing tools, i.e. Canva, PicMonkey, etc.
  • Organized & detail-oriented – You can manage competing deadlines and multiple rotation timelines with ease. You also double and triple check every nuance when it comes to deliverables
  • Strong communication skills – You write clear, concise, easy-to-read communication
  • Self-starter – Able to hit the ground running with limited supervision
  • Flexibility - Demonstrates experience working in a group or solo. Maintain a positive attitude and eagerly navigate a rapidly changing business environment
  • Confidentiality - Must be able to maintain department business with the utmost confidentially
  • Initiative - Confidently self-start advancements to office procedures, reports and processes
  • Creatively curious – You like to seek out and try new approaches that keep us ahead of the curve
  • Resourceful – If you don’t have the answer, you figure it out. You’re comfortable navigating a complex environment to obtain info
  • Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Prepares and processes P-card and expense reports in accordance with established travel policy guidelines; ensures the timely processing of expenses utilizing electronic processes for payment to Corporate credit card for the Wardrobe and Hair Makeup departments
  • Review daily broadcasts, track talent looks and produce daily guides
  • Coordinate appointments for CNBC Talent
  • Assist with product requests, orders & shipments
  • Maintain inventory lists and update daily product requests
  • Maintain “Pro Account” relationships
  • Review and revise vendor lists
  • Coordinate schedule changes for staff and freelancers
  • Responsible for coordinating staff transportation and maintain weekly reports
  • Provide production assistance for special network events, travel may be required
  • Performs basic administrative tasks, e.g. faxing, photocopying and filing
  • Maintain production calendars
  • Travel may be required to auxiliary locations in NYC including NASDAQ, NYSE and 30 Rock
  • Provide back up support to department manager
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
