About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Production Coordinator to join our team. The desired candidate will possess strong attention to detail, excellent teamwork skills, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure within a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills in Outlook, Excel, and Word
  • Quick learner with the ability to pick up new systems and software efficiently.
  • Familiar with meat terminology for effective communication with buyers and vendors
  • Experience with Infor (M3) ERP System

  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Follow all safety laws, policies, and procedures. Immediately report safety concerns to supervisor. Attend, and successfully complete, when applicable, all required safety training
  • Comply with the requirements of the Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOP), and Food Safety and Quality Food Programs (SQF)
  • Includes activities such as but not limited to walking, lifting, bending, stooping, reaching, grasping, pushing, pulling, twisting and turning
  • Requires ability to lift, up to 30 lbs. regularly and occasionally up to 60 lbs.
  • Subject to temperatures ranging from 30 degrees to 50 degrees constantly
  • Subject to noise levels higher than 85 decibels
  • Ability to wear all required PPE

Responsibilities

  • Organize fresh orders by date and order type, identify customer raw materials with proper labeling
  • Ensure timely order flow by distributing orders to the appropriate associates
  • Maintain cooler reporting by printing daily warehouse reports
  • Create identification cards for associates
  • Prepare sample requests as needed
  • Create work-order cards for upcoming scheduled orders to support future production planning
  • Ability to follow instructions and work in a team environment
  • Assure accurate completion, documentation, and closure of production orders
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned by supervisor
