Performs all administrative duties required to convert engineering data into shop fabrication data to communicate to the production line what needs to be manufactured. This role involves performing all clerical tasks associated with releasing a job into the shop, creating applicable cut lists, bunking lists, fabrication drawings, and electronic files necessary to operate the shop floor and computerized manufacturing equipment. The Production Coordinator will also generate shop drawings, group them by work center, batch jobs, create cutting reports, and simultaneously create automated saw files and projection fabrication files. The role includes releasing jobs to the production team, updating scheduling status, editing work orders in On-Line Software for shop labor totals, retrieving built information from the shop after fabrication, and closing production files. Additionally, the position entails performing any other routine tasks associated with the production department and other duties as assigned.
