About The Position

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Competency to design tools/software and a foundational understanding of engineering principles for practical application.
- Ability to identify design challenges, propose solutions, and troubleshoot issues with guidance.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to articulate design concepts, collaborate within teams, and convey ideas effectively.
- Willingness to learn new technologies, methodologies, and adapt to project requirements and team dynamics.
- Capacity to analyze data, interpret specifications, and contribute to design solutions.
- Required to sit, stand, and walk for up to 12 hours (Sioux Falls Only).
- Required to bend and reach above shoulder height (Sioux Falls Only).
- Required to lift/carry up to 55 lbs in EFD and up to 35 lbs in Aerostar (Sioux Falls Only).
- Required to push/pull up to 120 lbs in EFD and up to 35 lbs in Aerostar (Sioux Falls Only).
- Required to climb/use stairs (Sioux Falls Only).
- Jobs will be performed while sitting or standing (Outside of Sioux Falls).
- Frequent lifting and moving of lightweight materials, occasionally in difficult work positions (Outside of Sioux Falls).
- Occasional lifting of items not to exceed 50 pounds (Outside of Sioux Falls).
Nice To Haves
- Previous production experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assemble material together using an extrusion machine.
- Perform tests on materials extruded.
- Meet proficiency goals in all areas and/or be proficient at soldering components.
- Consistently perform work with high quality and attention to detail.
- Work with and understand R&D changes.
- May be involved in improvement activities.
- Demonstrate the ability to multi-task.
