Production Controller-Temporary

This position is a regular, full-time temporary position eligible for benefits. It is responsible for defining, prioritizing, and implementing flow of internal and external production processes for the production floor.
Requirements
- Degree in relevant field such as Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or Business (extensive relevant work experience considered)
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of SAP
- Ability to understand BOMs, engineering drawings, parts lists, and factory flow.
- Demonstrate strong skills in MS Office, databases, Sharepoint, etc.

- Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and communication skills
Nice To Haves
- Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) preferred
- Knowledge of composite materials and processes is a benefit
- Know-how of ITAR/EAR regulations is a benefit
Responsibilities
- Create scheduling and demand within SAP for assigned projects
- Create Material Masters, Bills of Material, and Routings in SAP for assigned projects
- Provide hands-on support for parts and logistics to production floor
- Define, prioritize, and implement flow of internal and external production processes through creation and issuance of shop travelers
- Control factory implementation and cut-in of engineering and process changes
- Prioritization of workflow in coordination with production floor and Project Management
- Prepare and maintain Standard Assembly Procedures manuals
- Work cross functionally with procurement, production, and engineering to solve daily issues with work flow
- Other Duties as assigned
