About The Position
North American Lighting (NAL) is looking for a Production Control Planner - I to join their team. The ideal candidate will plan, organize, and execute production schedules for assigned product lines to achieve maximum customer satisfaction levels and “on-time” shipments.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2 to 4 years of progressive manufacturing experience.
Nice To Haves
- Associate's Degree in Business or a related discipline
- Experience with computerized material requirements planning
- Access and Crystal Reports skills
Responsibilities
- Develops and maintains master schedules and order releases required to support customer requirements for assigned product lines.
- Reviews machine capacity, maintenance requirements, and schedules to determine if production plans for assigned product lines are achievable.
- Monitors status of purchase parts and communicates any changes to purchasing department.
- Works with Purchasing to secure purchase parts needed to meet production schedules.
- Provides shipping dates for short lead orders based on material availability and production capacity.
- Determines and maintains required Kanban card levels within the production system to meet production schedules and inventory targets.
